Real Madrid draw with Valencia in final game of the season
MATCH REPORT.Pablo Caycedo

Real Madrid concluded their league campaign with a 2-2 draw on the road at Valencia to bring up a total of 76 points. On Liga F matchday 30, our team went ahead twice through Alba Redondo, who found the net with 6' and 49' on the clock. Valencia got one back in the 66th minute, before finding an equaliser in the closing stages with 89 minutes gone.

Our team set the pace of the game early on, and wasted no time in taking the lead. With just 6 minutes on the clock, Olga sent a great ball into the box from the left flank, where Eva Navarro was on hand to turn towards goal. Her effort was kept out by the goalkeeper, but Redondo popped up to head in the rebound and make it 0-1. Real Madrid maintained the intensity throughout the first half as they looked to extend their advantage. Both Redondo and Toletti had fine chances to do so but were denied by the hosts' shot-stopper until the half-time break.

Redondo hits her 15th league goal of the season
The madridistas continued in much the same fashion after the restart, and the second goal came with 49 minutes played. Athenea shot from the edge of the box after being found by Linda C., and her effort took a deflection off Redondo, which sent the ball past the helpless goalkeeper into the back of the net for her 15th of the season. On 66’, the hosts made it 1-2 as Laia turned into her own net from a corner. The game had become an end-to-end affair now, with chances flowing for both sides. Then, in the 89th minutes, the home team made it 2-2 through Marcos. Pau C. could have nicked a winner in injury time, following a cross from the left, but her effort was kept out by Canales. The result remained the same, but our team complete their league campaign unbeaten in their 15 games on the road.
