6-0: Real Madrid run riot at the Di Stéfano

Real Madrid overcame Levante at the Di Stéfano to record their 11th win in the Liga F. The Whites continued their impressive run of form after collecting all three points in the matchday 8 league clash, which was postponed due to the DANA. Athenea spearheaded her side with a first-half brace, while Redondo, Teresa, Bruun and Møller rounded off the scoring in the second half.

Toril's side bossed the possession in a pulsating first half. Athenea opened the scoring in the 11th minute with an acrobatic finish after some great play down the left by Olga and Redondo. The visitors looked to hit back, but a save from Misa denied Ivonne and a shot from Ana Franco crashed against the crossbar. After half an hour, Levante were reduced to ten players after their goalkeeper was sent off and, shortly afterwards, Alharilla conceded a penalty that Olga failed to convert. On the stroke of half-time, Athenea completed her brace after more great link-up play.

Four second-half goals
After the interval, Redondo extended the lead with a powerful cross-shot. In the 66th minute, Teresa added the fourth with a right-footed shot from the edge of the area and, just two minutes later, Bruun got on the scoresheet with a finish from Carla Camacho's cross. Møller rounded off a superb performance from the Whites, who face their second clash of the week at home this Sunday against Granada (4 pm CET),
