Real Madrid lose to Bayern in the final test before the start of La Liga F.
Real Madrid were unable to secure a win in the final game of the pre-season in a demanding match against Bayern Munich. The German side started the game with intensity and took the lead in the 7th minute with a penalty converted by Stanway. A minute later, Dallmann made it 2-0, and in the 32nd minute, Tanikawa made it 3-0 for the home side with a low shot from the edge of the area.
Pau Quesada's players looked to cut the deficit and, in the 37th minute, Angeldahl won the ball back in the opposition half, and the ball found its way to Feller, who scored with a fine right-footed strike. Real Madrid continued to press before half-time, and they could have made it 3–2 in the 41st minute after a good team move. However, Däbritz's final pass was cleared by the home defence.
After the break, the Madrid players stepped it up a gear, but in the 67th minute Bayern made it 4-1 with a shot from the edge of the area by Padilla. Real Madrid are now looking ahead to their LaLiga F opener in Logroño on Sunday, 31 August.
