1-0: Bruun bags 90th minute winner
MATCH REPORT.Mireia JiménezPhotographer: Jesús Troyano

Real Madrid beat Villarreal in their second match of the week at the Alfredo Di Stéfano. A goal from Bruun in the 90th minute after a great assist from Olga Carmona earned our team their fourth consecutive win. The next challenge for Toril's side will be to maintain their winning streak so far this season when they take on Vålerenga in the Women's Champions League Preliminary Round Wednesday, 8:00pm CET.

Real Madrid could have taken the lead after just five minutes. Svava took advantage of a loose ball after a clearance but her powerful shot crashed against the crossbar. The rebound was picked up by Rocío in the box, but her shot went wide. Our team had possession and continued to look for goal. In the 18th minute, it was Zornoza who tried her luck from long range with a shot that went over the crossbar.

After the restart, Villarreal had the chance to score through McKenna. Real Madrid kept control of the ball but were unable to get forward with any real clarity. Toletti, Olga and Feller all tried but to no avail. Our team, far from giving up, kept on pushing until the end. The goal would finally come in the 90th minute. A great manouevre by Olga on the left flank gave Bruun the chance to shoot from the far post to find the target for the third game in a row and secure the three points for our team.
