Toril: “We're going to try to put in two good performances against two great sides”

Alberto Toril and Kenti Robles gave their thoughts on the start of Real Madrid's tour of Mexico during a press conference that took place at the San Nicolás de los Garza University Stadium. The Real Madrid coach said: 'We're really excited and it's a chnce to visit this great country. We've got lots of fans all over the world and here too and we're going to enjoy the experience. We're looking to play two good games against two great teams but we're ready. I hope Tuesday's game will be like a celebration out on the pitch'.

 

'Women's football in Mexico is growing and we're aware of what these two clubs are all about. They're both tough opponents and we're in two different stages of the season. We've just started pre-season and they've been competing for a long time. But there are never friendly matches at Real Madrid'.

 

'It's up to us to do well in the first pre-season game.We're looking forward to it and keen to out in a good performance. We'll be looking to do well and we've got a good squad, which is getting better every year'.

 

'It's an honour and I'm very happy. Real Madrid playing in my country is a special occasion. I'm going to really enjoy it and we're going to approach the two games with a lot of excitement and desire. We're going to show what Real Madrid is all about'.

 

'Spain are world champions and that says a lot about the Spanish league. The league has been in Mexico for six years and it is growing. There are some great players and it will continue to go from strength to strength'.

 

'We know all about the Mexican League and we've got some teammates here. We've seen a number of Tigres and America matches. I anticipate some very good encounters for the fans and I hope they enjoy it'.
