Toril: “We come into the game with confidence and growth”
NEWS.
Toril and Misa analysed Women’s Champions League match-day 5 game between PSG and Real Madrid. The coach spoke ahead of the match at the Parc des Princes in Paris 9pm CET: 'It will be a tough game against a solid opponent. We've had a very good run of late, we're confident and we have the opportunity to compete and win the three points. Ultimately, you always have to have the ambition and the desire to win, but knowing that the opponent will require us to be at one hundred per cent in terms of concentration, physically and mentally. It will be a good test for us'.

'We have to be intelligent and mature. We have to know how to hold them a bit at the start of the game, when we expect them to come out very strong and we can build on that. We are capable of growing in security and confidence. I think we'll do well because we're a growing group. If you look at our record and the important games we always finish very well and that's going to be the key: to stay in the game for as long as possible'.

Schedule
'What is true is that we started a long time ago and that we play matches every three days. We get very little rest. The players are performing at a very high level both mentally and physically. We don’t have long left, we’re on the home straight. We're going to give one hundred per cent, compete very well and, doing that, I'm sure we'll be in with a chance of winning'.

Misa: 'We expect a game similar to the first leg tie'.
'We're expecting a competitive game. We have a PSG side in front of us who have just beaten Lyon 1-0 and we're expecting a game like the one from the first leg. They are going to come at us and we know that it will be difficult on the wing, because they are quality players who run a lot. We hope to play a great game and clinch the three points.

'The bonus of winning a derby is good for the team in terms of confidence. Now we've got a huge game coming up against a great opponent, we will approach the game with the same desire and enthusiasm as always. Keeping a clean sheet means we can either draw or win if we score. We always try to keep a clean sheet. That gives us security and let's hope that this is the case in the match against PSG'.
