Real Madrid-Barcelona: the Di Stéfano hosts El Clásico ahead of international break
NEWS.
Real Madrid host the league leaders at the Alfredo Di Stéfano on matchday eight in the League 6:00pm CET. El Clásico is the final fixture before the international break and the madridistas begin the round in second place, having played a game less. Today they'll be hoping to pick up all three points and cut Barcelona's five-point lead at the summit.

It will be the second game of the week for Alberto Toril's charges, who come into it with morale sky-high following Thursday's demolition of Villarreal on the road in the postponed opening-day fixture. Our team's record in the league so far this campaigns reads five wins and a draw.

Barcelona come to the Di Stéfano in top spot, having won all of the seven games played to date. Geyse Ferreira is their leading scorer with four, followed by Caroline Graham Hansen and Mariona Caldentey on three apiece.
