Paula Comendador and Marisa García take prizes at AFE gala
They were named best player and top scorer in Group 1 of the Segunda Federación, respectively.
Paula Comendador and Marisa García both scooped awards at the Spanish Footballers Association (AFE) gala following an impressive 2023/24 campaign for Real Madrid B, as they achieved promotion to the Primera Federación. Paula Comendador, who bit seven goals on the way to the League title, was named Best Player in Segunda Federación Group 1. Meanwhile, Marisa was top scorer in the tournament with 21 goals in 26 games.
Paula was delighted to receive her prize: "This is a reward for the hard work over the course of the season, both on my part and by my teammates for the National Team Real Madrid. I'm so happy. Marisa had the following to say: "Due to being on international duty, I'm not able to be present but I want to thank my teammates and the club because this wouldn't have been possible without them. Congratulations to all the other award-winners too."
