María Méndez signs for Real Madrid
The Spanish international defender becomes the club's eighth signing for the 2024/25 season.
María Méndez has signed for Real Madrid. After spending the last four seasons with Levante, the Spaniard has joined the Whites to bolster their defence. At 23 years old, she started her career with Real Oviedo, before spending a season with Deportivo Abanca. She has been a Spain international since 2022 and this year she became a Nations League winner. In the youth national team, she won a World Cup and a U-17 European Championship.
