Leupolz becomes Real Madrid's third signing ahead of 2024/25 campaign
The German comes in from Chelsea and boasts an impressive professional career with 13 trophies to her name.
Melanie Leupolz is a new Real Madrid player. The German midfielder joins the club from Chelsea, where she won 9 titles over the last four seasons. Prior to playing for the Blues, she spent the first 10 years of her career in the Bundesliga, at FC Freiburg and Bayern Munich, lifting the league title on two occasions. For the Germany National Team, Leupolz has won 1 European Championship and 1 Gold Medal at the Olympic Games in Rio 2016. At youth level, she was also a runner-up at the U-20 World Cup.
