The following madridistas have been called up by their national teams for the fixtures in the February international break: Ivana, Misa, Marta Cardona, OlgaEsther and Athenea Spain, Kenti Robles Mexico, Asllani Sweden, Svava and Møller Denmark and Teresa, and Lucía Spain U-23.
 
Germany-Spain 1-1
England-Spain 0-0
Spain-Canada Wednesday 23, 3:30pm CET

Ivana, Misa, Marta Cardona, OlgaEsther and Athenea, who joined the squad after the opening game, are in the Spanish squad as they play in the first edition of the Arnold Clark Cup in England. Cardona and Esther were involved in the opening-day draw with Germany. Three days later, the six players were involved in another draw as they took on hosts England at Carrow Road. Spain will then round off their games against reigning Olympic champions Canada at Molineux.
 
Mexico- Suriname 9-0

 has been called up by the Mexican national team for two World Cup 2023 qualifying games. In the first clash, the madridista played the full 90 minutes as Mexico thrashed Suriname. In the second match, they take on Antigua and Barbuda at the Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez in Santo Domingo.
 
Sweden-Denmark cancelled

Asllani
is in the Sweden squad for the Copa Algarve in Portugal. The first match was cancelled after Denmark withdrew from the competition after several members of their squad tested positive for COVID-19. In the side's second outing, she found the net in the meeting with Portual at the Algarve Stadium. The tournament final will be held on 23 February at the Estadio Municipal de Lagos. The remaining participants will play for third, fourth and fifth place on the same day.

Spain U-23s thrashed Belgium U-23s in a friendly away from home, with Teresa, Athenea and Lucía all in the starting line-up. The madridista forward got the fourth goal of the game.
