Bruun named Mahou Five Star Player for December

Bruun has been chosen as the Mahou Five Star Player for December, receiving this award for the second month in a row in recognition of her superb performances for Real Madrid. In December she played in four of the team's five matches, finding the net against both Sevilla and Deportivo in LaLiga as well as scoring a brace against Celtic in the Women's Champions League. She also provided two assists.
After collecting the award at Real Madrid City, Bruun said: “It means a lot to me, thank you very much. I'm going to work very hard to try to continue like this. The support from the Di Stéfano Stadium crowd is important for us. I really enjoy my life here, with the team and the players. It's perfect for me. We've had some time off but we're back now and we want to start the year well against Atlético this Sunday. We will do everything we can to win.”
