Antonia Silva was runner-up with Brazil at the Olympic Games in Paris. The defender, who joined the club this summer from Levante, was unable to play in the final against the United States at the Parc des Princes (0-1) due to injury. 
At the start of the competition, Antonia Silva was a key member of her national team and was part of the starting eleven in all three group matches. Brazil first beat Nigeria (0-1) and lost to Japan (1-2) and Spain (0-2). In the latter match, the madridista was injured in the final stretch. In the knockout stages, without Antonia Silva, Brazil beat France in the quarter-finals (0-1) and Spain in the semi-finals (4-2).
