1-5: Convincing win sends Spain into World Cup quarter-finals for first time

Spain made it through to the quarter-finals of the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand after a convincing 5-1 win over Switzerland. The Spaniards’ passage to the quarterfinals marks a historic moment, as it is the first time the national team has made it to this round of the World Cup. Oihane was named in the starting line-up and played the full 90 minutes. Teresa started the game and played 63 minutes, while Athenea was introduced in the 83rd minute.
