1-3: Win at Zubieta to make it four consecutive league wins
MATCH REPORT.Eduardo Olivera
Real Madrid delivered a superb performance on the road at the second-placed team in the Primera Iberdrola. Alberto Toril's players come away from Zubieta victorious after beating Real Sociedad to clinch their fourth league win on the bounce. The madridistas take a well-deserved three points thanks to an Esther brace and an Asllani strike. A successful outing in their first game of the week and attentions now turn to Sunday's clash with Betis at the Di Stéfano 12:00pm CET.

The madridistas took the initiative early on and were ahead inside the first five minutes. Esther pounced on a loose ball by the hosts' defender and beat Lete one-on-one to make it 0-1. Following the goal, Real Sociedad looked to react and could have brought the tie level with three chances in quick succession, all of which skimmed just the wrong side of the post. With just over half-an-hour gone, Møller came close to doubling the lead after latching on to a fine Cardona through ball, but her shot flashed across goal and just wide. Despite their best efforts, the hosts were unable to cut the deficit before the break, thanks largely to a resolute madridista back line.

Esther and Asllani make sure of the points
In the second half, our team were quick out the blocks once again and the result was very much the same. A corner whipped in by Svava was met by Esther, who headed into the back of the net to complete her brace. Madrid made it three just on the hour mark, when Asllani capitalised on another defensive lapse and made no mistake with the finish. The Basque side did respond this time through Franssi, who made the most of a loose ball in the box to make it 1-3, which is how the scores would remain to the end.
