The madridista's country beat France on penalties and will now face the winner of England-Colombia on Wednesday the 16th.
Hayley Raso will be in the World Cup semi-finals after Australia got the better of Toletti and Feller's France team in a penalty shootout. Both Raso and Toletti were in their respective countries' starting XIs, the first playing 104 minutes and the second getting 64 in a game that was dominated by both goalkeepers.
France enjoyed a dominant first half, creating several chances to open the scoring but Australian shot-stopper Arnold was superb to ensure her team went into the break level. Roles were reversed in the second half, as the team from Oceania began to look a real threat, only to be foiled time and again by Pauline Pyraud between the French posts. The scores remained the same throughout extra-time, before Australia booked their semi-final spot with a 7-6 win in the shootout.
