Real Madrid-Sevilla: looking to get back to winning ways on return to LaLiga F action
The Whites play LaLiga F matchday 12 this afternoon at the Alfredo Di Stéfano after more than 15 days away from league action (5:00pm CET).
LaLiga F is back for Real Madrid. The Whites, who have not played an official match since 20 November, resume the competition by hosting Sevilla on league matchday 12 (5:00pm CET). After the postponement of last matchday's game due to the storm in San Sebastian and the national team break, the players called up by Toril return to the Alfredo Di Stéfano in the first game of December in which they will play five matches between LaLiga, Copa de la Reina and the Champions League.
The Whites' last game before the break was in Europe's top competition. With goals from Linda Caicedo, Bruun and Alba Redondo, the madridistas sealed their place in the quarter-finals with two games to spare by beating Twente 3-2 away. In LaLiga, they start the matchday in third place, although they have two games in hand on their direct rivals. Their record so far is 7 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat.
