Liga F kicks off and so do Real Madrid this evening against Logroño, at the Estadio Municipal Las Gaunas (8 pm CEST). The Whites head into the first matchday away from home with the objective of making a winning start against a team that returns to the top flight of women's football after an absence of five seasons.

The Madridistas go into the new campaign with fresh optimism to tackle the 30 matchdays ahead. After a month of pre-season, with two victories in the three friendlies played, this evening's game will be the Whites' first official match for the team’s new coach Pau Quesada, who has strengthened the squad with

The opposition
Héctor Blanco's Logroño have also added new signings in their return to the Primera División. The new signings include Paula Rubio and Andrea Colomina, former Real Madrid B players.
