Raquel Zuazo and Silvia Cristóbal represented Spain in the U-17 World Cup
The Madridistas lost to France in the last 16 of the tournament.
Two players from the Real Madrid youth academy competed in the U-17 World Cup, which is being played in Morocco from 17 October to 8 November. Silvia Cristóbal and Raquel Zuazo were called up to the Spain squad and they beat Colombia, South Korea and the Ivory Coast in the group stage. The Spanish were eliminated by France in the last 16.

After advancing from the group stage, the Madridistas failed to reach the quarter-finals after losing on penalties to France at the Mohammed VI Football Academy.

Spain-Colombia (4-0)
Spain made a flying start to their campaign with a resounding victory over Colombia. Both Madridistas started the match. Silvia Cristóbal scored the third goal, while Raquel Suazo played for 81 minutes.
Spain-South Korea (5-0)
In the second match, Spain once again emphatically defeated South Korea. Silva Cristóbal netted her second goal and Raquel Suazo was once again instrumental in keeping a clean sheet for her team. She also started the match and played for 71 minutes.
Ivory Coast-Spain (0-3)
Spain reached the last 16 after defeating the Ivory Coast. Silvia Cristóbal played the second half and Raquel Zuazo came on in the 73rd minute.
