Linda Caicedo and Sofía are involved in the U20 World Cup being played in Colombia until the 22nd of September. Caicedo, for the host nation, and Sofia, for Spain, have qualified for the quarter-finals.

Linda Caicedo has been one of the host team's standout performers in the competition so far, scoring the winning goal against Korea to seal a place in the quarters. Colombia will face the winner of the clash between France and the Netherlands in the last eight, set to be played at the Pascual Guerrero Olympic Stadium in Cali.
Japan-Spain (Monday 16, 01:00 am)
The Spanish team's goalkeeper will face the winner of the Round of 16 clash between Japan and Nigeria. The quarter-final match will be played at Medellín's Estadio Atanasio Girardot.
