Real Madrid gear up for friendly against Barcelona

Real Madrid carried out a new training session at the facilities of the University of Illinois Chicago. Our team, which now includes Vini Jr., Militão and Rodrygo, began preparations for their upcoming DirectTV Soccer Champions Tour friendly, in which they face Barcelona at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey (Saturday, 3 August, 7:00pm local time; Sunday, 4 August, 1:00am CEST).
The session began with the players working in the gym. They then carried out a number of passing, possession and pressing drills on the pitch. The training session ended with a series of games on reduced-size pitches. The players who played the full 90 minutes yesterday did recovery work indoors.
