Real Madrid prepare for Villarreal clash

The team completed a demanding training session at Real Madrid City to prepare for matchday 21 of LaLiga, in which they will face Villarreal at the Estadio de la Cerámica (Saturday, 9 pm CET). Arbeloa welcomed back Brahim, who joined after the Africa Cup of Nations.

The players began with a strengthening session in the gym. Once on the pitch, they divided into groups, worked on possession, carried out a series of runs and practised shooting at goal. The training session ended with a small-sided game. Asencio and Rodrygo completed part of the session. Militão, Mendy and Trent continued with their recovery programmes, while Rüdiger worked out indoors.
