A Vini Jr. stunner, Mastantuono's first madridista goal and an Mbappé brace made it six LaLiga wins from six for Madrid.
Real Madrid were in impressive form at the Ciudad de Valencia to claim their sixth successive win in LaLiga, and seventh across all competitions. The leaders set themselves on the way to victory over Levante with two superb strikes in the first half. The first was for Vini Jr. on the half-hour mark, an exquisite right-footed finish, and the second came from the boots of Mastantuono, who smashed his first madridista goal into the top corner. Eyong cut the deficit, before Mbappé popped up with another brace: the first was a penalty won by the Frenchman himself and duly converted with a sweet Panenka, while the second came after he expertly rounded Ryan.
The game got underway with early chances at either end, with the hosts posing the first threat after just four minutes. Vencedor sent the ball into the six-yard box but Iván Romero's first-time effort failed to find the target. Real Madrid hit back on 8’ with Mastantuono's strike from the edge of the box which flew inches wide, before Levante responded with Vencedor's corner on 13’ which was headed towards goal by Dela but was turned behind.

From that point on, Xabi Alonso's side exerted their dominance on proceedings, pushing forward until they duly went ahead. Vini Jr. measured a beautiful effort towards the top corner that Ryan did superbly to keep out, but it fell at the boots of Mastantuono, whose shot came back off the crossbar. Two minutes later, Valverde's fierce left-footed drive was again kept out by the goalkeeper. With the half-hour mark ticking around, Real Madrid did finally open the scoring, courtesy of a moment of magic from Vini Jr. The number seven picked the ball up on the right-hand side, worked his way into the box and finished sublimely with the outside of his right boot. A touch of genius to make it 0-1.
Mastantuono opens his account on the same day as Di Stéfano
Our team weren't happy to settle for the one, and a swift counter quickly saw them double their lead with 38 minutes on the clock. Carreras won the ball back in his own box, laid it to Vini Jr., who sent the ball out to the other wing. Mastantuono took the ball down on the run and just as he looked set to power into the box, he cut inside and smashed the ball into the top corner with his right foot for his first madridista goal. By a twist of fate, it was on this very day 72 years ago that Di Stéfano made his debut for our team, finding the net against Nancy.
Mbappé steps it up
Half-time came around at 0-2 on the scoreboard, but Levante cut the deficit after the break when Iván Romero's 54th-minute cross clipped off Huijsen. Eyong pounced to turn it in on the line. The goal breathed life into the hosts, but Mbappé took it upon himself to restore the lead just ten minutes later. He was brought down in the box by Elgezabal and stepped up to deliver a classy Panenka from the spot. The Frenchman wasn't finished yet, and on 67’ he completed his brace. Arda Güler's lovely through ball found our number ten, who did the rest, rounding Ryan beautifully and stroking the ball into the empty net. He's hit nine goals already this season, seven in LaLiga.
From that point to the end, Madrid maintained control of the ball and could have even got a fifth with 79 minutes played, when Bellingham's left-footed chip came down just the wrong side of the crossbar. In time added-on, Vini Jr. went through one-on-one with Ryan, who was able to turn the ball behind for a corner. The league leaders have 18 points from 18 so far, and now turn their attentions to Saturday's derby at the Metropolitano.
