Real Madrid are into the European Cup final for the 18th time in their history. To get there required another show of our team's remarkable strength of character, their ability to fight to the end and never believe they are beaten. That is the legend that accompanies this crest, the nature of the greatest club in the world. With the score against us following Davies' 69th-minute opener, which stood until 88’, Ancelotti's boys turned the game around inside two minutes thanks to Joselu's swift brace. Borussia Dortmund await at Wembley on 1 June. Let's go for the Decimoquinta!.

The first half was played at a steady pace but ended goalless despite some good chances for both teams. The first was a fine opportunity for our team, who dominated the ball early on. Carvajal slipped a pass into the box to find Vini Jr., who fired his shot across the goalkeeper only for it to strike the post with 13 minutes gone. The rebound fell to Rodrygo but his follow-up was kept out by Neuer, who gathered while on the ground. The Germans responded on the half-hour mark with Kane's volley from the edge of the box but Lunin did well to turn the ball behind with a diving stop. Ten minutes later, Vini Jr.'s whipped cross from the left shot across the visitors' goal and Neuer reacted brilliantly to send the ball out for a corner.

Chances continue to flow
The pace remained the same following the half-time break, and there were chances for both sides within two minutes of the restart. Vini Jr. evaded the attentions of Kimmich and pulled back into a dangerous area but Dier got across to clear just as Valverde was waiting to fire towards goal. Immediately afterwards, Davies galloped down the flank and cut in, but his shot caught Carvajal and flew inches over the bar. Our team were causing real problems for Bayern now with Vini Jr. down the left. The Brazilian was enjoying himself, his trickery mesmerising the visiting defence, and he danced into the area once more to lay the ball to Rodrygo on 54’, but his compatriot's effort whistled just wide of the target. Five minutes later, Rodrygo struck a fine free-kick towards goal but it was again kept out by the inspired Neuer.

Goal ruled out
Our team were deserving of a goal and had another great chance to find one on 60’ following a Vini Jr. move that saw him come inside and unleash a fierce drive which the goalkeeper turned behind yet again. Nine minutes after that, Bayern were ahead when Davies ran through and sent a well-placed effort into the far corner with his right boot. Real Madrid were level on 72’ as Valverde's strike hit De Ligt and found the back of the net, but Marciniak ruled the goal out after being called to the monitor by the VAR.

Historic comeback
Ancelotti's team continued to press forward in search of the equaliser, and they came close with 82 minutes gone. Rüdiger sent in a vicious cross and Vini Jr. connected with it but his effort sailed over the bar. Time was running out, but Real Madrid simply never know when they are beaten. With 88 minutes on the clock, they were level as Vini Jr.'s shot was spilled by Neuer and Joselu was quickest to the loose ball to turn home. But our team weren't done yet. Determined not to let the game go to extra-time, they made it 2-1 from a set-piece in the 91st minute, as Rüdiger nodded down and Joselu was on hand to complete his brace and seal the win and a place in our team's 18th European Cup final.
