Through to the World Cup round of 16 as group winners

Real Madrid are through to the last 16 of the Club World Cup. The Whites beat Salzburg at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia to finish the group stage with their second consecutive win. Vini Jr. broke the deadlock in the final minutes of the first half.
