Ancelotti: "We controlled the game very well"

Carlo Ancelotti addressed the press room at the Santiago Bernabéu after Real Madrid's win over Granada on LaLiga matchday 15. Our coach said: "It was a good game. We were in control and we also played very well. We were focused, avoiding risks, handling the ball well and watching the defence to avoid counter-attacks. Carvajal felt a niggle and we'll assess it tomorrow, but it doesn't seem very serious."
"Brahim is playing very well and working hard. Whatever position I put him in, he delivers. I'm very happy with him. It's true that he didn't have much of a role at the beginning, but now he's showing his quality."
Valverde
"He likes this role and enjoys this position with his national team. He's doing very well. It's difficult to say what his best position on the pitch is. When he plays at the back it's more difficult for him to get into the box. His work in any position is very useful for the team."
Kroos' performance
"He's a midfielder who doesn't miss passes and finds the best solution. He also wants the ball, is not afraid of pressure and also positions himself very well. His control and orientation are spot on when he receives the ball. Kroos is irreplaceable even when he's not playing."
Rodrygo's form
"Rodrygo is back to his best and scoring a lot of goals. He doesn't only score on the left. He also scores from the centre and from the right. In the second half, I put him more on the right because he could have more space than on the right. He scored with a great combination between him, Joselu and Brahim. It was a well-taken goal."

"Modrić will make the next game. We'll see about Carvajal, but Lucas played very well in the second half. Kepa is ready to play."
Teamwork
"I haven't bet anything with anyone this season. The team has to work together, it doesn't matter who scores the goals. What matters is the collective effort and that's what I like the most. We're doing very well and we're building up a sense of commitment that allows us to keep clean sheets and defend very well. The strikers are doing a great job and helping the team a lot."
The warmth of the crowd
"The fans show me lots of love and I'm very happy about that."
