“Thank you for giving us energy and making us believe”

The Real Madrid squad have been enjoying the celebrations of the Duodécima at the Bernabéu, where they addressed the fans from down on the pitch. Ramos spoke of his joy: “We knew this was going to be a difficult but very special season. With hard work, humility and effort, we've ended up with this reward. We've recorded a wonderful double and it should be valued because it's been a long time since we've seen it. From the bottom of my heart, thanks for giving us energy and making us believe. It's an honour to wear the armband for the best team in the world”.

Zidane: “It's been a spectacular year. Thanks to you, because you believed in us from day one. In the end, we've done the double and have won more trophies this year. We're very happy, it's been very special and we have to enjoy this moment. In the closing stages, we've been mentally and physically fantastic, everyone has been fully switched on and that's been the key”.

Cristiano Ronaldo: “Thank you, fans. It's been an extraordinary season and we're all absolutely thrilled. Thanks to you, we've done the double. I always try to do a good job, with goals and the numbers don't lie. It's been a wonderful day with a spectacular reception from the fans”.

Marcelo: “It's an incredible feeling to be enjoying this moment with the family and such wonderful fans. The best way to round off a season is by winning titles and this year we've managed to get our hands on two very important ones: LaLiga and the Champions League. We're happy for our supporters, who have helped us at the difficult moments”.

Modric: “It's as though it's easy to come and celebrate at the Bernabéu every year, but it's something that'll go down in history. Now we've got to enjoy it and remember it forever. I'm very happy to be part of the best club in history and now we've got to keep winning things because we've got an incredible team”.

Casemiro: “It's a moment that'll stay with me for the rest of my life. Thank you to the fans for the affection they've shown me throughout the season. This family deserves the title because we're united and we've worked really hard'.

'I'm the happiest guy in the world, I'm living and dream and I want to continue to live it. I want to be here at Real Madrid for many years and keep making history”.

Navas: “I'm very happy. These kinds of celebration are unique, you can't even imagine it. I'm thrilled to be able to help the group. My kids are here experiencing this with me. They are my support and my motivation and when they grow up they'll see the videos and I'll tell them about these wonderful moments”. 
 
Asensio: “It's been an incredible season. Real Madrid are always playing for all the titles, we've managed a historic double and it's been wonderful year both on a personal level and for the team. Now it's time to enjoy it with our people, because this win is for them as well”.

Nacho: “I'm thrilled. It's the third European Cup but you always live it as if it were the first. Winning the Champions League is very special, and even more so with this team. I always dreamed of winning this special trophy but to have three already is something amazing. We're still not quite aware of what we've achieved”. 

Lucas Vázquez: “Winning two Champions Leagues in a row is spectacular. It's very special to be back here at the Bernabéu and as of tomorrow we've got to start thinking about winning the third. It's the work of a full year and not taking your foot off the gas”.
