Rodrygo was named MVP in the match against Cádiz having scored our team's first two goals and setting up Bellingham for the third. The Brazilian told Realmadrid TV: "It was a tough game, but we played really well and controlled the game. I'm happy with the two goals, the assist and, most importantly, the win".

"I had no choice on the first goal because the two defenders closed in on me and the shot was all I could do. Then the ball went past me and I had time to get the shot off".

How was the second goal?
"It was a counter attack. Valverde played it to me and Bellingham moved to free up the space for me. I was then able to dribble and score the goal. I liked the first one better, but they were two great goals".

Brahim's absence
"I only found out a few minutes before the warm-up. I thought I was going to sit out because I had a problem with my knee and my tooth. Then I had to play, but everything went well".

Good momentum
"I'm at a good run. I'm working hard to score goals, provide assists and help the team as much as I can. I want to carry on like this".
