The Real Madrid striker, who has also been nominated for the 2023 Ballon d'Or, is in the running alongside: Aitana Bonmatí, Rachel Daly, Kadidiatou Diani, Caitlin Foord, Mary Fowler, Alex Greenwood, Jenni Hermoso, Lindsey Horan, Amanda Ilestedt, Lauren James, Sam Kerr, Mapi León, Hinata Miyazawa, Salma Paralluelo and Keira Walsh.
The winner will be chosen by an international jury composed of the coaches and captains of the women's national teams, a specialist journalist representing each team's territory and fans from around the world registered on FIFA.com.
Puskas Award
The Madrid player is also nominated for the Puskas Award for best goal. The nomination is for her goal for Colombia against Germany, which was voted the best goal of the last World Cup. The winner of this award will be announced at the next FIFA awards gala.
