Alaba turns 30
He captured the Champions League, the LaLiga title and the Spanish Super Cup in his maiden season at the club.
Today sees David Alaba celebrate his 30th birthday. Born in Vienna Austria on 24 June 1992, he joined our club in the summer of 2021 and has 46 appearances to his name in a madridista shirt. His first season at Real Madrid yielded a trio of trophies: the Champions League, LaLiga and the UEFA Super Cup.
Alaba checked in from Bayern Munich as was unveiled on 21 July 2021, before making his competitive debut for Real Madrid on 14 August in the LaLiga meeting with Alavés. The first of his three goals as a madridista was a stunning strike at the Camp Nou. In addition, Alaba has been part of the Austria national-team set-up since the age of 17.
