Vini Jr. receives EFE Trophy for Best Ibero-American Player of 2023

Vini Jr. was presented with the EFE Trophy for the Best Ibero-American Player of 2023 in the boardroom of Real Madrid City by Miguel Ángel Oliver, president of the news agency, and in the presence of club president, Florentino Pérez. The forward, who won the award for the second year running, has been honoured as one of the leading footballers on the world football scene. The Brazilian, who struck 23 goals last season, was instrumental in the Club World Cup title in 2023, where he picked up the Golden Ball, as well as the Copa del Rey.
On being presented with the award, Vini Jr. said the following: “It is very important for me because I work every day to perform at my best and to help the team. The team helps me to win individual awards and I have to thank my teammates. I want to continue like this to win more trophies.”
