Tchouameni, 200 matches with Real Madrid: “It’s a dream to be here every day”

Tchouameni played his 200th match for Real Madrid against Villarreal. The midfielder reached this milestone in his fifth season with our club, with which he has won 8 titles (1 Champions League, 2 Club World Cups, 2 European Super Cups, 1 LaLiga, 1 Copa del Rey, and 1 Spanish Super Cup). After the match, the Frenchman, who received a commemorative jersey from president Florentino Pérez, spoke with Realmadrid TV: “I’m happy for the victory because we know Villarreal is a great team. We can surely improve, but after three weeks of international duty, it’s not easy. Today, the most important thing is the victory.”

The Bernabéu
“Certainly, winning the game with the support of the stadium is easier. But I don’t understand what’s happening with the referees. I don’t understand the red card, but the most important thing is the victory.”

Victory after the break
“It’s very important to secure a victory, and we have to keep it up. We’ve done it, and now we’ll look ahead.”
