Antonio Rüdiger has been named Mahou Cinco Estrellas Player for the month of April. The defender received the award that recognises his impressive performances in the six games he played last month. He had a decisive role to play at the Etihad Stadium too, converting the fifth and final spot-kick in the shootout that sent us to the Champions League semi-finals. Upon collecting the prize at Real Madrid City, the German expressed his thanks: "I'm so happy. It shows what a great season we've had and on a personal level, it shows the fans accept and appreciate me. That's important. I feel good, full of confidence in the team.
