Real Madrid and Manchester City face each other for fifth consecutive season
The last occasion was in February, in the qualifying round for the last 16 of the Champions League 24/25, and the Whites won both matches.
Some of the most memorable Champions League matches in recent years have involved Real Madrid and Manchester City, who will meet again on Wednesday at the Bernabéu (9 pm CET).
This will be the fifth consecutive Champions League campaign in which the two teams have faced each other, having played a total of 14 matches since their first encounter in the 2012/13 season.
Over the last six seasons, they have faced each other 10 times and produced memorable moments in each of the five two-legged knockout ties. Real Madrid prevailed on three occasions, with special mention going to the semi-final comeback that secured our ticket to win the Decimocuarta in Paris in 2022.
The two most recent matches against City were nine months ago and ended with Madridista victory with a 6-3 aggregate score in the qualifying round for the last 16.
