1-2: Bellingham's England book place in European Championship final
The madridista was named in the starting line-up in his team's win against the Netherlands and will be looking to secure the trophy against Spain.
Bellingham became the fourth madridista to book his place in the European Championship final. The Englishman will be battling it out for the trophy against the Spanish team featuring Carvajal, Nacho and Joselu at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on Sunday (9 pm CEST) after defeating the Netherlands in the semi-finals. Bellingham started and completed the full match.
The Netherlands went ahead in the 7th minute through Simons, but England restored parity eleven minutes later when Kane converted a penalty after he was fouled by Dumfries. In the 79th minute, Southgate's side thought they had taken the lead again through Saka but the goal was chalked off for offside. The English did not give up and, in stoppage time, Watkins made it 1-2 with a wonderful cross-shot to send his team through to the final of the European Championship.
