Mbappé ends 2025 as top scorer in LaLiga and the Champions League
He's struck 18 goals in the domestic competition and 9 in Europe so far.
The year 2025 has been prolific for Kylian Mbappé. Not only did he equal Cristiano Ronaldo's remarkable record by reaching 59 goals, but he also heads into the Christmas break top of the scoring lists in both LaLiga and the Champions League for the 2025/26 campaign.
Mbappé has hit 18 goals in the 18 league games to date - that's 18 of 34 goals scored by the team so far that carry the Frenchman's signature. Among those are impressive doubles against Oviedo, Levante, Valencia and Athletic Club - figures that place the madridista atop the Pichichi Trophy standings, ahead of Ferran Torres (11) and Muriqi (9).
Champions League numbers
In the continent's elite competition, Mbappé has hit nine goals in just six games. The forward clinched victory for the team in Athens with a sublime display against Olympiacos, netting four times (3-4). He also struck a hat-trick as Madrid eased past Kairat Almaty (0-5), and a crucial double in a win over Marseille at the Bernabéu (2-1).
