Lucas Vázquez: "We got off to a great start to get the win"

Real Madrid beat Celta at the Santiago Bernabéu and Lucas Vázquez gave his thoughts on the win on Realmadrid TV following the game: "It was a very good performance from us. We got off to a great start and stepped up to win the game. The team did more than enough to get the three points".

"The most difficult thing in this type of match is to get the first goal. If you don't manage to score the first goal as the minutes go by, doubts start to creep in, but the team played very well today. We created chances, through the middle, out wide and from set-pieces. It was a very complete performance".

"We're doing very well and we're also getting that bit of luck that we need sometimes. We're happy with that, because it's another area that we bring to the game to help score goals".

"I'm happy to play and to be able to help the team. I'm really enjoying it, every time I go out I try to do my best. I'm really happy".

"He is having an amazing season. There aren't many players in the world better than him defensively. He's got a lot of presence and a lot of character and he's also contributing at set-pieces".

"It's fantastic news for Arda. Getting that first goal is very important to get that get that out of the way. We're all really pleased for him.
