Brahim: "We want to give our all and win the Club World Cup"
"We're really looking forward to getting started," said Huijsen ahead of Real Madrid's opening match in the competition.

Brahim, Huijsen and Ceballos spoke to the media before Real Madrid's final training session ahead of their Club World Cup debut. The forward made clear how excited the team is ahead of their opener against Al Hilal. "We're really looking forward to getting started because it's the first Club World Cup and Real Madrid is always there to make history. We want to continue adding to the history of this club and this is another title if everything goes well."
"Real Madrid are always favourites because we're ambitious and we're the best club in the world. That's why we have to win everything we play, but there are great teams and we have to compete really well. The pressure and demands are always there because we are Real Madrid. We want to give our all and win this title."
Xabi Alonso
"He still has the same quality he had when he played. When he gets involved in the game, he looks like one of the players. I think he had years left in him. He still has that intensity and desire to get the best out of everyone. We're very happy with him and he understands the Real Madrid identity and the demands of this club very well. He's approachable, he talks to everyone and that's positive. I'm very happy that he's here because of what he did as a player and what he's doing as a coach. I hope he adds more titles to the best club in the world."
The Madrid fans
"Wherever we go, we have fans and we're delighted to have their affection and support. I'm sure the stadium will be packed with madridistas."
Al Hilal
"They're a good side. They've got players who've played in Europe and know us very well. I know the goalkeeper quite well, so let's see if I can score against him."
His contract renewal
"I've always made it clear that I wanted to stay here and win with Madrid. I'm achieving that and enjoying every moment. Madrid is always Madrid."
Trent
"A good signing. We've seen what he can do. He's got a great shot, great passing, and good vision. I'm sure he'll bring a lot to this club."
Mastantuono
“I've seen a little, not much. You can see he's a great talent and he's got a great left foot. I'm sure he'll bring a lot to the team and we're already looking forward to seeing him.”
Florentino Pérez
“He's amazing and we're very happy he's here because he always shows us affection and support. It's a pleasure to have him here.”
Huijsen: “We're looking forward to getting started”
“We're really looking forward to getting started. We're Real Madrid and we want to win the Club World Cup. There's a great atmosphere in the dressing room and we're all together. They're all good people, humble and keen to work. Everyone knows how good these players are, but when you're part of the group, you see just how good they are”.
Xabi Alonso as coach
“‘He wants to teach us his ideas and we're gradually taking them on board. We're looking forward to getting started”.
The arrival of Mastantuono
“We've all seen what he can do. He's young, with a lot of potential, and we're looking forward to getting to know him”.

Ceballos: “Not everyone gets to play in a Club World Cup”
“On a personal level, I'm 100% recovered from my injury. I'm really looking forward to starting this new chapter, just like the team. There's a lot of excitement about starting the first match and winning this World Cup. Not every team can play in a Club World Cup”.
Xabi Alonso
"The coach has the soul of a player. He gets you very involved in the work, he's still got his first touch. He's a coach who's teaching us a lot. He's a very tactical coach who likes positional play, winning the ball in the opposition's half and keeping things very tight defensively, and I think little by little we're understanding what he wants from us. It's true that we've only been training with him for a short time and it's a bit stressful. Once we start to build confidence in the games, we'll get better."
High temperatures
“We're getting used to it, although I think it's also very hot in Madrid. Here it's also a bit humid; at three in the afternoon, it's as hot as it is at six. The heat is the same for both teams, we're going to have to get used to it and give our best so that the weather doesn't affect us and we can give 100%.”
Mastantuono
"Personally, I haven't seen him, only a couple of times with the Argentine national team. He's a lad with a bright future. If Real Madrid has signed him, it's because he has the ability to play for this club. Let's hope he does well with his club, that he doesn't get injured, that he comes back to us soon so we can get to know him and that he adapts to the demands of European football, which is very different from South American football. We hope he'll be with us soon so we can make him feel like one of the team."
The new signings: Trent and Huijsen
“They are two different players. Huijsen is a young player who's adapting to the team more quickly because he speaks the language, he's with the Spanish national team, he's played in the Premier League and he already knows us all a bit more. What can I say about Alexander-Arnold? He has an incredible track record and he's coming in to contribute and generate competition, and we hope that both of them will give us a boost in quality”.
The fight for the Ballon d'Or
“We still have a sporting challenge ahead of us in the Club World Cup. On a personal level, I can't vote because I'm not the captain. If I did vote, there's still a competition ahead that could decide it. Now we have to focus on the team and on working hard. We need a lot of energy and understanding, and little by little we'll become a better team.”
