Mbappé, Carvajal, Modrić, Arda Güler, Lunin, Brahim, Vini Jr, Rodrygo, Militão, Endrick and Valverde have all been called up to represent their national teams during the international break. The Europeans will play in their respective Nations League groups, while Brahim will play in Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and the others in 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

France-Italy (1-3)

Mbappé 
was called up by France for the first two matches of their Nations League group. In the first, which took place at the Parc des Princes against Italy, the Madridista was in the starting line-up and played the full 90. In the second match, the Madridista came on in the 67th minute in his country's win over Belgium in Lyon.

Turkey-Iceland (3-1)
Arda Güler
 was in action in League B of the Nations League for two matches with Turkey. His team kicked off at the Cardiff City Stadium with a draw against Wales. The Madridista was named in the starting line-up and was substituted in the closing stages. He then played the full 90 minutes in the win over Iceland and provided the assist for the final goal.

Brahim starred for Morocco in the first two qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations. Against Gabon, the Madridista was named in the starting line-up and scored the third goal to open his goalscoring account for his country. He then came on in the 57th minute against Lesotho and grabbed the winner in stoppage time.

Brazil have two World Cup 2026 qualifiers with Vini Jr., Rodrygo and Endrick in their ranks. Against Ecuador, they won at the Couto Pereira Stadium in Curitiba thanks to a solitary Rodrygo strike, in a game that Vini Jr. also played. Next up are Paraguay at the Estadio Defensores in Chaco de Asunción. Militão, who was also named in the squad, has had to pull out with injury.

Ukraine called up Andriy Lunin for two games in Nations League, League B, both of which were played in Prague. The goalkeeper did not feature in either clash.

Serbia-Spain (0-0)
Switzerland-Spain (1-4)
The European champions were back in action in the Nations League. Carvajal was called up for the two matches, both on the road. The first was against Serbia, in which the madridista captained the national team for the first time and was one of the standout performers. Carvajal was also instrumental in the win over Switzerland after his side were reduced to ten men early on.

Portugal-Croatia (2-1)
Croatia-Poland (1-0)
The Croatian national team suffered a 1-0 defeat in their Nations League opener against Portugal at the Da Luz stadium in Lisbon. Modrić started the game before coming off in the 76th minute. The Real Madrid player was instrumental in the second game, scoring a second-half free-kick that flew into the top corner to break the deadlock against Poland.

Uruguay-Paraguay (0-0)
Valverde plays two World Cup qualifiers with his country. Uruguay picked up a point against Paraguay at Montevideo's Estadio Centenario as the madridista played the full 90 minutes. Valverde was shown a yellow card in this match and will miss his team's next match against Venezuela due to an accumulation of cards.
