Elche pay tribute to Benzema for winning the Ballon d'Or
Club president Christian Bragarnik presented him with a commemorative plaque after the game.
At the end of the clash between Real Madrid and Elche, the president of the Alicante club, Christian Bragarnik, kindly presented Benzema with a plaque commemorating his Ballon d'Or award, which read: "Elche Club de Fútbol to Karim Benzema, in recognition of his achievement in winning the 2022 Ballon d'Or, which recognises him as the best player in the world. At the Martínez Valero, in the first match played after receiving the award".
