Real Madrid participate in tribute to Toshack
Our players joined Real Sociedad´s to form a guard of honor for the former coach of both teams.
Real Madrid participated in the tribute that Real Sociedad dedicated to John Benjamin Toshack, former coach of both teams. Before the match at Anoeta, the two teams formed a guard of honor to welcome the Welshman. Toshack was Real Madrid coach between 1989 and 1990, and in 1999. During his time at our club, he won one La Liga title. He managed Real Sociedad on three occasions and won one Copa del Rey.
