The Club World Cup kicks off on 14 June in the United States
Real Madrid go up against these three teams in the group stage: Al Hilal, Pachuca, and Salzburg.

The Club World Cup kicks off on Saturday and will be played from 14 June to 13 July in the United States. Real Madrid play the first phase in Group H, alongside three of the most traditional clubs in the Middle East, North America, and Central Europe: Al Hilal, Pachuca, and Salzburg, respectively.
Our opponents in the group stage
The Whites begin their campaign on 18 June against Al Hilal at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami (9:00pm CEST). The team is managed by Simone Inzaghi and captained by Salem Al-Dawsari, one of the most experienced players in the Saudi Professional League. Al Hilal is the most successful team in their country with 19 league titles, and boasts players such as Bono, Milinković-Savić, Renan Lodi, Rúben Neves, and João Cancelo.
On the second matchday, Real Madrid will play Pachuca at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte (Sunday, 22 June, 9:00pm CEST). Founded in 1892, Pachuca, which Madrid beat in the final of the last Intercontinental Cup, is the oldest club in Mexico and one of the most representative in the country. They are coached by Jaime Lozano, who was Mexico's national team coach between the summers of 2023 and 2024.
To conclude the first phase, the madridistas will face Salzburg at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia (Friday, 27 June, 3:00am CEST). The Austrians won 10 consecutive league titles between 2014 and 2023. The last twenty years have been the most successful in their history, which dates back to 1933. Managed since last year by Thomas Letsch, Salzburg's top scorer and most influential player is Dorgeles Nene.
The road to the round of 16
If Real Madrid finish top of Group H, they will face the second-placed team in Group G (Manchester City, Wydad AC, Al Ain, or Juventus) in the round of 16. The match would be played at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami (Tuesday, 1 July, 9:00pm CEST). If they progress, the rest of the matches will be played in New Jersey.
If the Whites finish second in the group, they will play the round of 16 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando (Tuesday, 1 July, 3:00am CEST) against the first-placed team in Group G. If they win, they will play the quarter-finals in Orlando and the rest of the matches in New Jersey.
The quarter-finals will be played on 4 and 5 July, the semi-finals on 8 and 9 July, and the final on Sunday, 13 July, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
