Real Madrid's schedule leading up to the international break

Real Madrid have an intense schedule over the next few weeks with important matches in the fight for LaLiga and the Champions League. Our team will play eight highly demanding matches between now and the international break in March: six matches in the league and the round of 16 tie against Leipzig.

First up is this Saturday's game at the Santiago Bernabéu, which pits the LaLiga leaders against second-placed Girona, two points behind them (6:30pm CET). Three days later, the Champions League is back. Ancelotti's men travel to Leipzig in the first leg of the round of 16. Another away game on Sunday 18 February, against Rayo Vallecano on matchday 25 of the campaign.

Our team will have the whole week to prepare for their next two league games as they host Sevilla on Sunday 25 February at the Bernabéu and on 2 or 3 March they visit Valencia to start the new month. The Bernabéu plays a key role in the next two fixtures coming up in the same week. On the club's anniversary, Wednesday 6 March, the Champions League quarter-final against Leipzig will be decided. Then, on the weekend of 9 and 10 March, Ancelotti's men host Celta in LaLiga matchday 28 game.

The last game in this run of fixtures prior to the international break will take place at El Sadar against Osasuna on the weekend of 16 and 17 March.
