Real Madrid came from behind to defeat Roma away, and after the match, Valverde shared his thoughts on the victory: “The first half was evenly matched. Neither team had many chances, and we couldn't execute the game plan we had worked on. We practiced many things but couldn't apply them, especially in the first half. I think later, with resilience and being behind on the scoreboard, we started implementing what we had prepared, which was creating movement inside, upfront, and on the wings. We were able to find much more space. We found one-on-one situations upfront, which was something we had worked on a lot. So, I'm happy.”

“As a player, I'm proud that the team shows resilience. But it's true that if we had done the work earlier, I think it would have been a less complicated match. We would have enjoyed it much more. The game became an uphill battle because of our own mistakes, but the important thing is that we managed to turn it around. Congratulations to every player who came on; I think they did an incredible job. They came on with the determination needed, and that shows the team is focused.”

Endrick's Performance
“I'm very happy for him. The coach said a few days ago that he needs all the players, that it's important for everyone to contribute. He praised those with fewer minutes for their hard work. Today it was evident that every player with fewer minutes gives their all to keep the team performing well.”

His Position on the Field
“The important thing is to win. As the coach said, if things go well, we have to keep moving forward. I'm happy to keep getting minutes, no matter the position. I enjoy playing for this badge. Today I enjoyed it a lot; I think we had plenty of space to run, especially on the wing, so I enjoyed it quite a bit. I'm grateful that the coach continues to trust me, no matter where I play. I'll try to deliver and give my all for the team and for him.”
