Ceballos: "We showed real intensity"
"The competition in this team is really strong and we all have to do our bit," stated the midfielder.
Dani Ceballos spoke to Realmadrid TV following the final whistle in the clash with Levante. The midfielder was named in the starting eleven, and he discussed the LaLiga leaders' sixth successive win: “We knew how important it was to start strongly at a place like Levante. It's a tough ground and lots of teams have struggled here in the opening minutes. We showed real intensity and the team delivered a complete performance in both attack and defence."
“I'd take away the whole team performance, the collective attacking play, but there is room for improvement as well. We made life hard for ourselves in the first ten minutes of the second half. Then we got back to it and managed to turn things around. In general, it was a very complete display."
His performance
“I hadn't been involved in the previous two games, but the competition in this team is really strong and we all have to do our bit. From a personal perspective, I felt great, confidence is high both with and without the ball."
The derby
“It's a derby, and away from home it's even greater motivation. I have nice memories of last year when we qualified in the Champions League and we'll have to be disciplined if we want to stay top of the table and be as far ahead as possible as we come closer to the next international break. We'll have to deliver a complete performance."
