Asencio: "We have to keep up these good feelings and with clean sheets"
"Being here is the best thing that can happen to a person in football," said the Real Madrid defender.
Asencio started and played the entire match against Espanyol in LaLiga matchday 5. After the match, the defender told Realmadrid TV: “The feelings were really good. We're leaving here very happy. We wanted to keep picking up three points. It was a hard-fought and important victory. At the end of the day, we have to keep up these good feelings, keep clean sheets and keep working as a team in front of all our fans, which is always a bonus".

Which of the two wonder goals do you prefer?
"I prefer Mili's. At the end of the day, I play in the same position and I know how difficult it is. He's an extraordinary player with different qualities. But I also rate Kylian's goal highly, although I'm more used to seeing him score".
What Xabi asks for
"We have different circumstances during the match. At the end of the day, we have to train for all kinds of situations we might encounter. In this case, they were sitting back a bit more and we had to look for shots from the edge of the box. On this occasion, Mili took an exceptional shot and we have to appreciate it for what it is."
