Cucurella spoke to the media after playing his first match as a madridista at the Bernabéu. The defender analyzed the victory against Real Sociedad: "A perfect night, you can't ask for more. Showing the Club World Cup trophy to the fans was a very special moment. Then, during the match, we did a great job. We were up against a great team. They made things difficult for us, but the team delivered an excellent performance."
"We knew how to endure during tough moments and managed to seal the game. We’ve started very well in these first two matches. On Sunday, we have another one, and hopefully, we can secure a third victory."
