4-1: Gonzalo stars in Spain U21s' emphatic victory over Norway
The Real Madrid forward played the first half, provided an assist and scored the third goal of the match
Spain U21s beat Norway U21s 4-1 in a friendly match at the Pedro Escartín Stadium in Guadalajara.
Gonzalo put in an outstanding performance. He started the game and played 45 minutes. Simo put Spain ahead in the 16th minute after a headed assist from the Real Madrid striker and team captain. Ángel Ortiz extended the lead on the half-hour mark (30') and Gonzalo himself, a livewire in attack, made it 3-0 just before half-time (44'). In the second half, Carvalho (61') scored the fourth goal for La Roja and in the last play of the match (90+1), Norway scored their only goal of the night to make it 4-1.
Spain's next match will be against Finland at the Estadio Municipal Castalia (Castellón de la Plana) in the European Under-21 Championship qualifying round.
