Courtois has been named Mahou Cinco Estrellas Player of the month for December. The goalkeeper received this award in recognition of his strong performances for Real Madrid last month, during which he featured in three of the team’s four wins and kept two clean sheets.
After receiving the trophy at Real Madrid City, Courtois stated: “It’s always an honor to receive an individual award from the fans. As a goalkeeper, maybe it means we’ve faced a lot of shots, which isn’t ideal, but it was a good month for me personally. We’re improving, we’ve won the first game of 2026, and we want more.”

“Motivation is sky high, I'm in the swing of things and the intensity is there. We’re confident. Now we’re playing for the first trophy of the year, and we want to win it.”
