Álvaro Carreras turns 23 today. The defender, born on March 23, 2003, played in the youth categories of Real Madrid between 2017 and 2020, joined our club last summer from Benfica, where he won the Portuguese League Cup.
Carreras made his official debut with Real Madrid on August 19, 2024, in a 1-0 victory against Osasuna. Since then, he has played 34 matches with our team across four competitions: La Liga (23), Champions League (8), Spanish Super Cup (2) and Copa del Rey (1). Additionally, he scored his first goal with the first team in the 11th matchday of the league when he netted the final goal in the 4-0 win against Valencia.
